Many years ago (2009), with heartbreaking events of the last phase of war raging around us, I was invited to write a series of articles/newspaper columns for an English language newspaper in Sri Lanka on the subject of Nonviolent Communication. Scanning through it, I find it a bit clunky in style but still, its phenomenal that even during such a painful and frightening time in our Island’s history, it was invited, written and published… so in celebration of the resilience possible when there is love, hope and determination, I decided to share it:
